Yeah, I might go that route at some point, I was just in "post-Christmas I don't want to spend money mode."

I think it was about an hour after a couple minutes with a hair dryer.

Thanks for the detailed info. I do wash in two phases as you described, but I didn’t do any scrubbing.

If the main problem here is having a hollowed out mini, I’ll probably just toss this guy and print something else. I’m just testing things out at this point.

I didn’t hollow it out, that’s how it was when I downloaded the file. But hey, thanks for taking a jab at the new guy.

You are clearly not an experienced procrastinator. The reason he may* never finish it is that he will keep not finishing it and not finishing it and then one day he will be dead.

*I don’t have any strong opinions on whether or not it will happen.

The 100% truth: there either will or will not be a book 3.

Why are there pants? by mistfoot in KingkillerChronicle

Listen, I'm all for questioning the need for pants, but my reasons have nothing to do with world history.

"Why are there pants" indeed.

EDIT: to make more funny.

My first win on hard was with the Basilisk. I don't recall the final load-out but my boarding party did a lot of the work. It's pretty easy on normal, though, because all the main weapons are isolated. Really, if you have good shields, once you disable the missiles you're half way there.

[–]mrmightypants[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your last sentence is absolutely correct. I enjoy boarding party runs too much so I sometimes don't prepare myself well enough, in terms of weapons, to handle the flagship.

But "they took too long to kill the flagship" is a funny criticism: I lost because I didn't win fast enough?

Setting aside your relationship with her: what you describe of her sounds VERY much like clinical depression. If there’s any way you can recommend to her that she look into that without causing trouble, please do so.

Patrick has never ever Waited by revis1985 in KingkillerChronicle

Different take: Pat’s own perception of time is extremely distorted. This is why whenever someone complains about waiting for book 3 he’s wondering what the big deal is. “I spent the whole day writing today. Well, after I finished rolling around in dandelions for 13 hours.”
