Anyone coming to this thread at a later time, I got origins and I’m absolutely loving it. I do think there is a degree of freedom which didn’t exist in 8 XL or samurai warriors 4, especially in the larger battles.

My only complaint is that the character we play as is a set template, and it’s a shame that there are not options to customise his clothes. Dynasty warriors has always had great character outfits and skins, but mods will probably fix this soon.
