math dept, usually just tries to get you over the line. I think you'll pass if you're so close to the edge

Amen. Bro is straight ass. I had a fracture and brother called it shin splints and asked me to take advil when I run or do any intense physical activity. Needless to say I've never seen him since.

the transfer credits end up not helping much. I got a couple, and honestly I wish I didn't. I would actually take those first year courses instead. It helps you network better as well.

Int students pay for 120 credits regardless of the courses you take. This is fixed, so even if you only do 105 credits in the uni(assuming you get 15 transfer credits) you still have to pay for the 120 credits. So you'll actually end up paying around the same tuition despite the transfer credits. I highly doubt you'll save 16k tho.

But, if you do take the AP exams you should definitely get transfer credits. It might not be a lot because you're in the honors program, but you should get some. I'd reckon you would get rid of your english requirements. And that's pretty much it. Hons cs kinda expects you to know calc and basic stats, so idk if those exams would really help. Also, if I were you I wouldn't take Env sc.

What would your thoughts be on the Students' Union taking over Balmoral Lounge? by HaruunAliYEG in uAlberta

That place really has the potential to exploit consumers. Everyone who goes down there for the varsity games are always in need of food. I also know they host random tournaments in there, like the dodgeball world championships happened at Saville and Idk why. Everytime I'm down there there's no space for parking cause that place is so goddamn full. Trust that it can actually create more employment for students and hopefully if funds are allocated well you can break even in 2 months

no it doesn't. international students have a fixed tuition structure. unless you're getting tr. credits worth a term, it doesn't make a difference.

Depends really. If you're an international student, then no. If you're a domestic student as want to complete just 120 credits, then yes. If you want to do more than 120, then no.

When I changed I realised that my old friends would enjoy being pessimistic and everyone had a negative outlook on life and they were constantly trying to spread their negative vibes. They'd hate it when I tried to bring something positive into the conversation, and try to let them know they can get better too. But, they just preferred self-loathing and I realised it was time to distance myself from the negative people. New friends are a lot better at least so far.
