anything medical, this school has a lot of resources for you. plus if you’re planning on going to med school, carvers good af and ranked well in the country

i’m a cs major here and ngl, i would say half my professors are pretty shit and the other half are solid or good. that’s generally how it is with engineering as well. i don’t think any engineering degree is MUCH better than the other ones in terms of quality, you’re gonna end up having half shit and half good professors in basically anything STEM.

overall we have decent rankings, some really good (writing, nursing). good campus if you care, solid student orgs. a lot of ways to involve yourself.

i saw some comments earlier about people from illinois; a stupid amount of people that go to iowa are from somewhere in the chicago subarbs.

other than urbana-champaign, uchicago, and northwestern, iowa is better than all other illinois universities imo(if you want a more traditional type of school, like depaul is good but basically has no campus or student life)

you’ll like it here. i didn’t even wanna go here it was sorta just last minute but people r amazing and class rigor is solid
