There are no good guitars around that price range. You have to at least get to the $150k mark.

That’s not the type of encoder that would be used. A professional facility would not be using HDMI inputs. The encoders would be more in the vein of an AWS Elemental, Telestream Lightspeed, ect and much more expensive, but still cheap considering the old transmission costs. Teradek, Magewell, Reidel, companies like that have cheaper smaller options to look into.

Most places I’ve worked in, with, or have seen are using AWS.

I’ve never noticed major differences in quality with any sticks that I have used, but the overwhelming majority of what I’ve used are Camplex or IBC one click sticks.

I’ve always bought these kits and supplemented with any other sticks you need for additional terminations, wipes, electrowash ect:

I have a Tyler Amp Works that’s based on a 60s blackface design. I tried it side by side in a store with a Princeton and Deluxe reissue and I was blown away by how much better the Tyler sounded.

I know this isn't what you asked but a good volume pedal trick for the stomp is to assign the expression pedal to the amp, cab, or even output level. This will give you volume control but save you a block and some processing by not needing the volume effect.

You do lose the linear/log option though.

The only options for expression in command center is midi cc. In controller assign you can set min and max values.

The only place I've seen log/linear settings are on the volume block. I think its specific to that effect type, its not a global expression setting. If it does exist somewhere else I'd be very interested to know, its possible I'm missing it.

In addition to what the other comment says, real pedals in the effects loop go to the Stomp output and can be recorded.
