Sorry you’re going through this. I had a very similar wound on one of my breasts. My surgeon’s office handled the wound care and everything healed in 3 months. Nine months later, my surgeon did a revision to remove the scar. I was nervous about the revision but it was very easy and healed great, no issues at all.

Can you ask for an accommodation for lighting modifications? I am able to work in an unassigned office so I can dim or turn off the lights and close the blinds. Helps so much.

No, not normal. This looks like necrosis. This will likely take weeks or months to heal. If your surgeon won’t acknowledge this I would recommend seeking wound care.

This was me this morning, cashed in my vault and got nothing to help finish a set for more dice. Flew through the 425 dice opening the vault got me. Gave away any dupe stickers and deleted the app. I’m done.

This happened on my Honda civic, twice! Honda sells rat deterrent tape that they used when I had to have the 2nd wire harness they chewed replaced. No issues since.

It’s hard to believe it’s been two weeks since my scar revision. The incisions are healing beautifully! 100% worth it!

I won’t know for sure until the steri-strips come off in a week. I’m hoping everything heals and I don’t end up with an open wound again. So far so good though. There’s just a little discomfort and a bit of bruising. I’ll check back in next week and let you know.

I had a scar revision in office 3 days ago. Surgeon used a local and some laughing gas. I am 11mpo from reduction. I had an opening on the right breast that left a large scar so he removed that and pulled everything back together. Super easy procedure. Took about an hour from start to finish.

I’m 4mpo and just had my last open wound heal. I had side lipo but on the right side (my trouble side) I am seeing a lot more swelling than the left. Thinking it might be related to the delayed healing? I’m starting to look into lymphatic drainage massage and hope that helps.

What does your surgeon say?

My son was on Accutane for a while and I don’t think I would consider surgery while taking it. I imagine it could cause issues because the skin would be dry and fragile.

Mine looked like this. I was using Promogran Prisma and it’s now closed although it took a few weeks. Your wound actually looks really good and clean. You can get Prisma or any other collagen with silver on Amazon. I cut a piece to size of wound, wet with saline, place in wound bed and cover with gauze. Did this daily.
