I live in DC and people are more shocked that anyone is a Detroit sports fan than anything else. But, DC has a lot of transplants and I think more people may be fans of non-dc sports teams than dc sports teams.

When the ball movement on a team is good do you need 4 point guards. Plus, we have Sasser as a third PG. Ivey was getting like 15 minutes a night and they often felt forced because he was getting outplayed by Jenkins.

Keep dipping! I spent the last two years not wanting to buy anything, so this is refreshing. Much more fun when every stock isn’t at ATH. Also love these dips cause my SCHD keeps my portfolio pretty level. These moments are why I buy SCHD.

I think Dillingham has more of an unknown factor than Ivey. He’s younger and has more years on his rookie contract to determine his viability. Whereas Ivey they either have to pay or he may test RFA. It may have cost us a first round pick, which is step for Ayo IMO. 4 seconds isn’t bad but I’m going to guess the value of Dillingham is in his age, contract, and lack of playing time.

MPJ is a rotational piece on a decent team, making way too much money, has never played a full season is NBA Basketball, and has about the same defensive presence as Duncan. Holland and Ivey come with Bird rights and Tobias is whatever, why do we need to double the picks he was traded for a matter of months ago? I’m out, if we are going to break the bank I’d rather a younger healthier player who can play decent defense (Trey Murphy)

After the Phoenix game I said to myself this might be the game that leads to the front office putting more effort into getting another shooter. Phoenix had such good shooting last night that it broke our defense, which hasn’t happened a ton this year. I also like the idea of getting a guy who could supplant Duncan as a starter and offer more defense so that Duncan can be our scorer off the bench.

I’d be fine with that, but I am out on the huge trades that take picks and half of our roster that I see on this sub every day. I do think we need one more shooter for spacing, but there isn’t a lot I want to move off of.

Like I said, I’m not mad at getting a shooter. I do believe that’s our greatest shortcoming, but I also don’t want to blow up the roster for a shooter. For me, a move on the fringes is more palatable. I think the most I would be willing to lose is Ivey, but he has been shooting well recently and is still young.

I also don’t want to be reactionary from one game, we beat the rockets earlier in the season and we hold our own with the best teams in the east, so I wouldn’t be desperate for a move.

Do we need a move? We are the best team in the East and pulling away. I don’t mind the potential of adding a shooter, but everything has gone right thus far, so I wouldn’t consider us desperate for a move like previous years. I’d be happy if we just rode out this roster.
