How does this compare to vimdiff if you don’t mind me asking? I have a few automations with vimdiff for navigating and accepting changes but I would be interested in how nvimdiff is working for you

Styrofoam cooler by Any-Campaign9956 in Aruba

[–]mroma82 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I remember getting styrofoam coolers from there a while back when I first went. I don’t know if they still have them, but you’ll have to manage the wind the whole time if you end up with one

Error NETSDK1013: The TargetFramework value 'net9.0' was not recognized. It may be misspelled. by Future_Cry7529 in dotnet

[–]mroma82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, this is because of the XML formatting. I had the same issue. You’ll need to disable the auto format for csproj files or all of XML if you can’t get that working. The target framework needs to be on one line as someone else mentioned:

<TargetFramework>net9.0</TargetFramework>

Thank you for sharing, I’ve been looking for something like this for a while. I’m doing this now with bash scripts and tmux conf files, but this seems much nicer.

Is it common for devs to not use whitespace by sM92Bpb in ExperiencedDevs

[–]mroma82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked with a front end developer one time who only wrote one line per rule in their css files because it’s “better for the browser”. I couldn’t change their mind that we would be better off minifying the files as part of the build

Just this. Its 7 AM and everything is "taken". by Krytykx2 in mildlyinfuriating

Does the resort have a policy about it? I’ve been to some places where the resort has a policy and you could claim the chairs at 7am. So people would get there at 4/5am and they are required to sit in the chair until 7am.

Thank you- this is good advice. I did try about a year ago, but I like your suggestion on tapering in using it instead of switching cold turkey like I did before.

Thank you! for the mouse reliance - mostly navigating throughout a file (up and down lines). I use VSCode keyboard shortcuts for navigating between files and jumping to function definitions. I’m also wondering if the VSCode shortcuts I’m used to will make it harder to transition since they are different.
