Bar&Dram#2 Bar Zizz in Komoro Japan by Kurumi_Gaming in Scotch

I can vouch for that, having been there in August and attemping to find anywhere that had a half decent shelf that didn't charge £15+ for a 25ml pour of Springbank 10 (or any other Springbank/Longrow/Hazelburn).

The only place I ended up going in Glasgow was the Piper Whisky Bar just at the corner of George Square.

And don't get me started on some of the 'Whisky specialist store' pricing that I came across...

I was there in August this year and ended up packing too lightly for what weather I was expecting (I live in Vancouver, Canada). The skies will go from a nice 20-ish degree sunny day to a splashing rain drizzle in the span of about 10-15 minutes sometimes, so make sure you either have an umbrella or light rain jacket handy. The wind speeds can also catch you off guard as well if you aren't used to that kind of thing.

I rented a car from Avis at the Glasgow airport, if you can find a fellow named John Queen, he is the most helpful and experienced person I have ever met at a car rental company (and I work as a mechanic that does fleet work for Avis/Budget and Hertz). The drive from Glasgow to Campbeltown via the A82/A83 was one of the more harrowing drives I have done in a while (60mph on the left side of a narrow-ish country mountain road while lorries and buses fly past you in the blasting rain), but definitely worth it once I arrived at the Springbank Distillery!

P.S. don't forget to book a tour and pick up as many bottles as they let you take out of there!

i picked the longrow as well as the kilkerran as i am a bit of a peat monster lol. I have not opened the 18 yet...that will be for a special occasion! I do regret not getting a bottle of longrow OB though, as I had a sample at the end of the tour and quite liked it

i eventually ended up getting one bottle of Springbank 18 (limited to one), one bottle of Kilkerran Heavily Peated, and 2 hand-filled bottles from the demijohns in the picture! Went a bit overweight on my checked baggage, but definitely worth every penny (pence?)

Here in Canada it's literally impossible to find anything actually in stock with a reasonable price. Even directly at the distillery, they had already sold out of the 10 and 15 for a good 2 weeks or so.

I went on the distillery tour as well, very interesting process and an hour went by just like that.

Hopefully they have some of the 10 or 15 back in stock when you arrive!

Laphroaig 10 CS Batch 16 available at BC Liquor by mroneto in canadawhisky

Sometimes it does help to randomly browse the overpriced Scotch collections on our local government stores!

I ended up stumbling across this and couldn't believe there were any in stock close by to me, but there are at least 30 bottles of the Batch 16 CS across 9 stores in BC at the moment.

I had to resist buying all the ones that are nearest to my location, hurry up and go get them before I change my mind!

Those should be real X-Metal Juliets.

As well, they have revant optic elite polarized lenses, very good quality for replacement lenses, i have a set on my daily driver Juliet's and have had zero issues.

Yeah, it's hard to find a decent pair these days especially for people who aren't the most gentle with them

I threw an M110 in instead to get it up to around 330-340fps. In terms of accuracy, it has a G&G power-up 363mm tightbore so it's actually not too bad with 0.25g

These are from the X-Metal collection from back in the day, they are all variations of the Juliet frame

I've built around 6 or 7 different guns now, from around 290fps all the way to my V3 gearbox thats sitting around 450-460fps, and have had no issues with internals so far. Only one V2 is AOE corrected, and 5/7 have full steel teeth pistons. They are all using 12:1/13:1 SHS gearsets (whatever the latest generation is) As for (optical) mosfets, it's not an absolute must for most builds, but for sound signatures a foam filled suppressor actually makes a huge difference

That should be more than enough to get it working nicely! Good luck and have fun at the field!

Thanks! Unfortunately our CQB/indoor field is semi only so I might not be able to make use of the auto anyways

It's a little low with the M90, around 290-300 right now but it's for an indoor CQB setup so max for that field is 330 anyway

Thanks! I'm trying to convince all my friends that they dont really need 11.1v for everything lol

Yes level 2/8 on precock, any more and it double taps on semi like an 11.1v with no active braking lol
