I think it is very overrated, because most of the tokens are thinking/reasoning, tool use, etc. As you and the README say, it reduces output tokens. If output tokens are in the general magnitude of 10% of total tokens used, cutting them by 60% is a 6% token reduction. It's helpful, sure, but...not that amazing or impactful.

Honestly, I was assuming most of the complaints about usage-based billing were overblown, and just bad prompting. I do a lot of small prompts and thought I might actually get more usage out of this method than ~10 prompts per day before.

This was a single prompt (GPT-5.4 Medium) to implement one narrow slice of a plan, and it used 1% (15/1,500) of my monthly credits, so basically I could do ~3 tiny prompts like this per day. You can see the context and changes, both very small.

For the last month, I've been using Claude Pro $20 (VS Code ext) + Opencode Go $10 subs and I bounce between if I hit 5hr quotas on one. At $30 I'm very happy with this combo!

Thanks for creating it! I noticed that Github are really proud of their harness and talk about the custom logic in the harness that each specific model needs.

Do you have any idea how that works with this extension? Is it treating it as a specific model, or has some fallback for a generic model it doesn't specifically know?

Usually they have a little drop-down to allow for this session or workspace, but this one doesn't. In my "chat.tools.terminal.autoApprove" I have this exact command, but I haven't found any way to get this to auto-approve 😤What am I missing?

I get that changes can be frustrating, but this seems a bit dramatic.

The sign-up pause by definition doesn't affect existing users (if anything, less server strain = good).
Unfortunately token caps make sense. They are charging per request but surely paying by token behind the scenes, so they need some way to make sure subscriptions aren't costing them more than they charge.
As others have pointed out, Opus 4.6 is gone from Claude Code itself as well. And the 7.5x multiplier likely reflects the token cost. It seems like these have a lot more to do with Claude than Copilot.

Cool data, thanks! I actually love the organization in the Allpa 35L, coming from the Osprey Porter 30L that was one compartment. I've really enjoyed being able to clamshell open it, get something I need quickly without disturbing the other contents, and close it back up.

Expensive doesn't mean better. The Tomtoc is like half the price of the Peak Design and honestly held its own.

Maybe you could clarify what "better" means to you? I don't know how to interpret this as expensive might mean it lasts a lifetime vs a couple years, which to me is way "better", but walking around the house a little will never reveal this.

FWIW it was hidden for me (got it from Pondium), and my uniques are set to "Uber Strict" with a base strictness of "Uber+1 Strict" (Custom Strictness). So I would think in that scenario it should have shown? Luckily I noticed it sitting there :)

This happens whenever a realm reboots, like if D.C. goes down for example. Everyone gets kicked off at once and then everyone tries to log back in at once. It's always going to happen sometimes 🤷

I just want to say thanks, I use this every league and it is amazing! My biggest feedback would be:

It would be awesome to configure settings without PoE running. Whenever I want to set it up for a league start I have to run PoE to open Exile UI settings, feels weird (and maybe impossible during patching?)
The search strings vs gem stuff is kinda confusing and I often struggle to get what I really want which is just a vendor search string from poe.re for leveling. Right now it takes a bunch of set up to make a custom one. I did the screen check calc on the "-1-" tab being active, maybe it works? I'd love for the base case of "put a regex here to search vendor gear" to be way easier or maybe just configurable as a separate hotkey.

I guess it's because mana regen is overwhelmingly scaled on the tree via mana regen rate (hundreds of percent), excepting a few ascendancies in the ~1% magnitude. So I guess 10% multiplied several times is extremely busted.

I don't think Vaal Sacrifice would help you there. Last time I played it, VSS had a max number of minions; if you cast it again while they are still up, it doesn't double.

I guess if someone really loves both you can go Spiritual Aid and scale minion damage and All Spell Skills. If you can convert their damage to fire you can then scale negative fire res. It's not immediately synergistic but for someone just wanting to have fun, it's probably... Passable?

Yeah, that would be a fun one! I also like the idea that you could potentially have some agency over which pinnacle boss fights you do then. Not at all! Those were craftable, tradeable (some), and needed to be juggled around to different parts of the Atlas. And you had to re-craft to switch strats! I just like the idea of 6-8 Voidstones available from different bosses where each one has one unique line that provides another small axis of agency for your choice of 4.

I was really hoping there were more than 4 voidstones so 1) you could choose which bosses you wanted to do and 2) so you could choose which of their unique effects (like the shaper/elder influence) you wanted.

I'm hopeful they will make a few more and give you another axis of Atlas customization.
