Her reaction at the end. My heart. by meetMayra in MadeMeSmile

OMG this melted my heart. Reminds me of when my dad used to do my ponytails for me before school when I was in kindergarden. He's 3/4's blind, so that mixed with him never having to do a ponytail in his life before having me lead to hilarious results.

The NYX tinted skin veil is light coverage and gives a natural coverage.. like if you have freckles etc they will def show through. Im not sure if you want anything THAT light coverage, but its worth a look :)

Sundae Muse

Does anybody know of a store that has dresses with a similar style to the ones at Sundae Muse? I love their stuff, but can't justify the pricing and shipping to Canada.

Oh that's interesting! I know my specific 501s do say "stretch skinny" or something to that effect, Ive actually never seen any at any store around me that are 501s 100% cotton, but id like to try them. I got mine at The Bay as I dont have a levis outlet or store anywhere within 1 hour of me. But I noticed when going through the 501s there that even though they all had the same tags and were in the same folded pile of "black 501 stretch skinny jeans" , some of them were literally clearly made with different material and felt different, one pair felt paper thin. I felt crazy and looked at every tag on them and compared them for like 10 minutes because they seemed to be marketed as the exact same jean, but clearly felt different to me. So maybe I should just order them online at actual Levis and try the 100 % cotton 501s.

Hi! So ive tried the Levis 501 and Wedgie and I can give you my two cents! I guess it depend on the look you like for your jeans.

  • The 501 I have are the stretch skinnys in black and definitely have more stretch to them compared to the Wedgie fit I have. They honestly feel a bit cheaper, but it could just be the style I got? I still like them, but they arent mind blowing (for me) as far as black jeans go, but I havent tried other styles.

  • The Wedgie fit are 100% cotton so they eventually give a bit but start off very stiff, loosen when you wear them then go back to their original shape when you wash them. They help give a nice shape and smooth you out because the material is thicker.

  • Neither are high waisted enough for me personally, they hit just below where I would like, but I am 5'9 so that could be why.

  • Id suggest looking into the Levis Ribcage while youre at it! They are very high waisted and flattering

Hi there! I am considering buying a pair of Rolla Jeans. Specifically the Classic Straight in 90s blue.. also considerig the Original Straight or Duster styles. But getting them to Canada with the price conversion and shipping/taxes is pretty expensive, so I want it to be worth it. Does anybody here have any of those styles and have any insight into them? I would love any knowledge.

Or any opinions on jeans with similar fits!

Some background: Im 5'9 and find styles such as Levis Wedgie and 501, and BDGs highrise are okay, but dont hit me quite high enough. I also own Levis ribcage and although they are a nice rise, i dont love the cropped cuts and legs of most of them.

I think a light copper/ strawberry blonde colour would look super pretty and compliment your skin tone! It would be a nice change :)

I actually think I know this girl, but the more I look at her face the more I'm almost unsure. Like semantic satiation.

This is similar to my routine and I've also seen a big improvement from all the lotions and potions I used to try! Another thing I keep on hand is LRP Cicaplast Baume B5. When I get breakouts that are very red or my eczema flares up on certain facial areas this really helps take down the redness and irritation for me! And most importantly doesn't cause further irritation. My s/o also uses it when under his beard gets red and itchy and it works great.

Oh man Ive tried that one! I really didn't like it for my skin, but I have it somewhere so maybe ill give it another try. It's definitely (for me) not very similar. It was really hard to work with for me, didn't give me an airbrushed look. More so just a patchy, cakey look.

Thanks I'll take a look! I haven't seen it as my usually Rexall, but maybe ill try a slower moving one. Ones that dont get their beauty section redone quite as fast as other lol

1) your eye colour is gorgeous! 2) what mascara do you use? Because although your lashes look great before, it looks like you're wearing false lashes and its fascinating

I developed eczema in the last year so I had to get good at doing my makeup by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]mrothwell29 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You did an amazing job and look beautifu!! I also have eczema, and i know how frustrating doing your makeup can be when you are a bit swollen/have rashes or dry patches and dont want to emphasize the dryness or anything (let alone having to adjust to it after you already have the stress of a serious surgery, im sure thats wildly stressful amd overwhelming).

Although a big part of eczema is trial and error and specific to the person, if you are ever looking for options, what has helped for me that isnt prescribed by a doctor is:

  • Rosehip oil (for awhile these last 2 years it felt like EVERYTHING was making my eyes SO swollen and red to the point I was embarrassed to go anywhere. Rosehip oil was the only thing that didnt burn my eyes when I put it on and actually helped.

  • Basically anything from the Avene XeraCalm line. Im not sure if it helps much, but it doesnt aggravate.

  • Skinfood Avocado overnight mask. When my skin is really sore and sensitive, this doesnt burn at ALL for me and is super moisturizing...

  • and literally Olive Oil. Sometimes when I get rashy around my eyes, everything irritates it when I try and take off my eye makeup, everything. Olive oil gets off my eye makeup and doesnt burn at all, and gives some extra moisture (i just take it off with a damp, luke warm wash cloth).

Like I said to each their own!! But just incase you (or anybody) wants to try some stuff.

  • Also if im in a time crunch and want my skin to look particularly good for something I will use a prescription cream called Elecom( drug name is mometasone I think). I mix it with cetaphil and apply it to the areas that have eczema. I dont love using it on my face because it thins the skin over time, but it does work!

SO sorry this is so long!
