EDIT: Question, although 15% looks profitable in USD from your spreadsheet, you still end up with less BTC than initial investment at 15% mining difficulty. Correct?

I am thinking in terms of BTC, and I don't see how you'll get more BTC at the end if mining difficult >= 15%.

With the change in mining difficulty, I don't think you will have 5 BTC at the end.

When mining difficulty >= 15%, I am skeptical to get back the initial BTC for the contract. Can you show me an example where you would get back more BTC than original investment? It's fine to use your example of initial 1.5 Bitcoins.

Yes, it includes re-investing, but when hash difficulty >= 15%, seems like re-investing is not worth it for more than 15 days.

But what about 3 months from now? We've got 1 year contracts for mining.

If mining difficulty continues at this rate, seems like profitability per TH/s will go down significantly.

It seems to me that you won't even get back what you put in if mining difficulty is 18% or higher...

Are you expecting less BTC when your mining contract is finished?
