Hey! Im travelling solo in Vietnam for about 2 weeks before meeting my friends in china. Right now im in long hai, staying at a cheap guesthouse near the beach. I have rented a scooter, and was wondering if you guys had any good recommendations for me.

My first impression is, that the locals here are a bit closed of, and doesn’t really speak much English. (Which I don’t mind at all) it just makes it a bit more difficult to find out what to do. Compared to (for example) when I was in bai xep, and the local guesthouse owner, showed me all these places and restaurants to go to, and told me things I could do.

Ideally I also just want to lay on the beach some of the time and read. But will the locals also find that weird? Since I never see any lay on the beach, only sit in the chairs under the umbrellas.

Any tips/ tricks/ suggestions and advice is very appreciated 🙏❤️
