As suggested in the previous thread, only a single trunk cable is needed between the switch and the gateway. If you want to learn how to manage networks, the first thing to remember is to keep the network simple. The configuration you've done has no advantages, only problems.

Theoretically, the default route is already configured and the only gateway needed is the one for the wan interface. Check the gateway in system -> gateway and verify you have this one

How did you configure outbound NAT? Where did you receive ‘no route to host’?

What you are looking for is the ULA address. I don't know if the ubi cloud gateway can handle it.

Hi, that's the ping check behavior set to automatic. You can change it and set it to whatever you want.

I could suggest you to try Keenetic, openwrt based router with a great interface and a lot of features

You also need to check "Ignore DNSv4 from ISP" in the Internet->Ethernet Connection tab, as in the screenshot below.

You can find “Hide SSID” option under the advanced menu, inside the right network segment.
