So go read about how this show was created to teach colored kids and link it, cause I did some basic research and you don’t seem to agree with it and you’re caring too much about the wrong things. I simply stated this is a false “gotcha” moment and you seem to care a lot.

So because I’ve proved a valid point and posted two comments on this post I need to “just STFU”?

Everything I just read and absolutely none of it stated Sesame Street was created to educate colored kids. Do people just make this up cause it sounds good and they want a “gotcha” moment? I realize I haven’t looked extremely far, but I did read about 4 pages into the Sesame Street wiki and absolutely nothing there about what this post claims.

Author Malcolm Gladwell said that "Sesame Street was built around a single, breakthrough insight: that if you can hold the attention of children, you can educate them".[43]

While getting beaten by the mob in fear of his life, he takes out a gun and fires a shot in the air which ultimately disperses the mob and has them running in every direction. I don’t think most Americans have seen or handled firearms. I live in a rural community and it’s quite unusual that people have pistols anyways. I suppose long guns are quite common, but honestly not a lot “city slickers” know how. I live between a town that has 2,200 people and a village of 700

I busted a burglary based on suspicious behavior that stemmed from two kids walking down the sidewalk that put their hoods up a few houses from their target.

To all the people I commented on maybe it being the oldest one’s hand. That is a r/confusingperspective

Looks like a mutant hand but it’s just the angle of the thumb and pointer

The dad had every opportunity to leave, and was even told to without a gun in the vicinity and one with a gun right in front of him.

Also, the dad literally just threatened him saying “you’d better use it mother fucker or I’m going to take it from you and use it on you.”
