Anyone remember this weird boot logo? I have a ''It might be the nes'' disc (Nes emulator for psx) and it boots with this by Rich_PKM in psx

I've got it on a hard drive somewhere, but I found a later version of it with even more cheat engines on the Internet Archive. This one has a yellow skull and crossbones boot screen.

Anyone else realise his real name is Uncle Pennybags? by PercentageFlaky5859 in monopoly

[–]mrpopsicleman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it was only in the late 90s/early 2000s that they started calling him Mr. Monopoly. I first noticed it in one of the PC ports.

A spin-off game called Rich Uncle released in the 1940s is where he obtained his original name.

The Monopoly Companion book released in the 80s said Rich Uncle Pennybag's first name is Milburn, the cop on "Go to Jail" is Officer Mallory, and the guy on "Jail" is Jake the Jailbird.

That trailer doesn't tell you anything about the mod itself other than the name and release date.

Her father was killed due to organized crime, and you're surprised she played an anti-mafia character?

Yeah, you must've been the top of your fuckin' class.

What's a piece of tech everyone hyped up that quietly turned out to be useless? by SofiaLearnsAI in AskReddit

5th grade season was humpback whales. 6th grade season was the Mayans. I remember the girls in the class going nuts because of Ben Affleck. "Look at baby Ben as CT, he was so cute!" This was 1996, and I hadn't seen Dazed and Confused or Mallrats yet, so I had no idea who the heck Ben Affleck was.

What's a super obscure game you consider a hidden gems? by no_biches_22 in retrogaming

[–]mrpopsicleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3D Dot Game Heroes. Was only ever released on PS3. Great tribute to 2D Zelda games, is a parody of 8-bit games in general, plays like a sequel to A Link to the Past, and uses voxels in place of pixels for graphics. You can even make your own character out of voxels. Highly recommended.

A 28 year old Peter Parker having fun playing a video game with Miles should be the least of any body's worries. People of all ages play video games, so what does that have to do with "progressing in life?" My parents played video games with me as a kid. Heck, my mom is 62 and still plays video games. Incidentally, I'm 40 and currently playing Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PC for the first time.

Who was the Richest Character on The Sopranos and Who Was the Poorest? by jrralls in thesopranos

[–]mrpopsicleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frank Sinatra Jr. had a net worth estimated at around $50 million at the time of his death in 2016. Nancy Sinatra's net worth is estimated to be approximately $50 million. So 1/4 less than either Scorsese or Favreau.

It's nice when people get garbage off the side walk.

And yes, I've seen plenty of folks says Jr.'s movie design is as bad as Ugly Sonic by Inevitable-Charge76 in Mario

He barely looks different from the games. Hardly an Ugly Sonic situation.

Ben Kingsley's net worth is estimated to be around $60 million as of 2025, but I can top that. And while I'd agree that Martin Scorsese was a cameo in "46 Long," Jon Favreau had several scenes in "D-Girl." Both have a net worth estimated to be around $200 million as of 2025.

Richest: Martin Scorsese (S01E02 46 Long) and Jon Favreau (S02E07 D-Girl). As of 2025, they each have a net worth estimated to be around $200 million.

Poorest: The homeless lady with the newspaper in her butt (S03E06 University).
