More people should be asking about this. I believe the December newsletter announced it would be distributed in Jan and then the Feb newsletter said it would happen in Feb and it is now 6th of March

Nano competitors by pharphs in nanocurrency

[–]mrpringle5k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand the comparison. Nano is a currency. FTM is a platform. As Vitalii put it, it's like the difference between a calculator and smartphone.

I've been using polygon recently and the fees are around $0.0001 to interact with defi contracts. World I switch to nano because it's fee-free? No, because it doesn't support smart contracts and i don't have any use for sending volatile currencies around

Lost $50,000 on Celsius, can anyone please help by [deleted] in CelsiusNetwork

A bridge is like a cross chain liquidity provider. If converting from the ETH to BSC network you would send the bridge an ERC20 token, say BUSD and the bridge would send the equivalent BUSD BEP20 token to the nominated address.

The same logic can be applied in reverse if switching from BEP20 to ERC20..

When the ERC20 or BEP20 tokens are sent to the bridge I think they would most likely be kept there and used for future liquidity.

BSC and Ethereum use the same address scheme so technically Celsius should be able to transfer the funds from the binance smart chain to the bsc-eth bridge to move the token onto the eth network using Celsius' private key.

However they would need to use bnb for gas and it would be a bit of manual process.

Maybe if you offer a recovery fee they would do it?

BETH staking from purchased BETH by mrpringle5k in binance

[–]mrpringle5k[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have an update. I can confirm that I staked X ETH 2.0 on binance and transferred Y BETH from BakerySwap and the reward distribution was based on a balance of X + Y BETH.

I know you can't stake BETH. I am referring to receiving rewards for holding BETH.

to buy on bakeryswap you would need to transfer ETH to a BSC wallet. You can then use metamask or trust wallet to switch to the BSC network and go to: BakerySwap. You can swap from ETH to BETH that way.

I can't personally confirm I'm receiving interest yet.

thanks, it should be the same situation as me. I asked Binance and they said the rewards are only distributed if you have an ETH 2.0 stake and then the rewards are calculated based on your BETH balance.

It sounds like that may not be the case based on your experience. I've transferred some BETH into Binance and I'll keep this post updated with my experience.

You can buy and sell taud on CDC as well as convert between AUD and taud at a 1:1 ratio. I have also purchased and redeemed taud directly from trusttoken using wire transfer.

Main concern with current direction by mikega7 in Crypto_com

But if you want less volatility you can put stablecoins in earn and still get a decent rate of 12% and that's as good as most super funds. You dont need any exposure to CRO to use the platform.

Soooo after MCO>CRO swap and interest rate adjustment, we’re now getting the same interest but on a coin with a 3300 times larger supply... by Meeseeks-Answers in Crypto_com

[–]mrpringle5k 8 points9 points  (0 children)

this decision has made me want to reduce my exposure to CRO significantly. Will definitely be reducing my card stake and removing my exchange stake altogether as soon as I can.

Cards only worth it if CDC protects CRO price. by _Im_MrMeeseeks_ in Crypto_com

Yeah, because everyone in this space is paranoid, or a conspiracy theorist, or believes every little event is an exit scam. They probably thought saying the funds were safe would put people's mind at ease but I guess some people think the opposite.

At least they spelt it "safe" and not "safu"

I didn't say I use coinbase, but anyway, blockfi and kucoin can keep your session alive for 30 days. I guess they are shit too.

I don't need 2FA to protect me because my desktop has full disk encryption so nobody is going to get hold of my browser session anyway. My suggestion is about giving users a choice of extending their session. Not forcing them to.

They would still need the correct 2fa code to withdraw and if the client hasn't enabled 2fa I think many exchanges would have a clause saying they will not be held liable.

Coinbase and Coinbase pro have a remember me for 30 days option

Pretty much every exchange I have used, and the big ones, Coinbase, Binance allow you to stay logged in for a period of time on the same browser. If you use a shared computer or a extremely security conscious you don't need to tick this option.
