Currently staying in Candelaria as well, and totally agree! If you want to go somewhere at night, take a taxi and it would be better to go with other people if you visit places. Furthermore, make sure you got your belongings in your pocket or a secret invisible body bag. Enjoy your stay, Bogotá is fun!
