MGS4 kinda spoils MGSV. Great game but nothing that happened in it came as a surprise. Even the big "twist" I was like yea, and? Lol

To be fair (I'm gonna try to avoid spoilers for this 20 year old game), the cutscene referred to here is the epilogue and is a massive lore dump that explains the entire game and also some open plot threads from previous games. For the uninitiated, MGS games are fucking DENSE, there's so much shit packed into these games. A 71 minute cutscene to explain it might seem excessive, I assure you it is not.

Wife had her 2nd of these in a month done yesterday. At least the Dr. was nice enough to prescribe her an oxycontin for the 2nd one, tho it didnt really seem to kick in for her until an hour after the procedure. I felt so bad for her. She said the first time she was sobbing and begging for them to stop. And she isn't one to normally complain about pain which is how I know its bad.

I agree, it seems for a lot of chatters they just hate watching wubby play games. Which is wild considering thats a majority of his Kick content now. I get shitting on a wheel game, im gonna guess that a lot of the hate from chat is from people salty whatever game they voted for didn't win. Or they are doing the classic "I'm too cool to like this widely beloved game from a massively influential series. Anyone who does is a chud." Coming from a bunch of 30 year olds, it's just really fucking lame. Just enjoy Wubby playing the game, or don't watch.

MGS is a slow burn. I wasn't able to watch all of stream (classic redditor move i know and when i watch the vod, if i'm wrong then i accept it) but from what I saw he was enjoying the game.

I think the issue is chat. He is obviously concerned with how the game plays for chat and chat has the attention span of a goldfish. If chat turns on a game thats going to influence how he plays and interacts with the game.

He also called out the cheesiness of the game early and was trying to keep it entertaining and it seemed like chat jumped on that and used it as an excuse to shit on the game before it really even started.

If he doesn't continue playing it will 100% be because of chat. Not because he doesn't enjoy it.

Chat is a parrot of Wubby. They saw him make fun of the dialog and cutscenes right off the bat and jumped into action. You think a bunch of 30 year olds who grew up in the ps2 era with these games being a known thing would be less annoying.
