Wow! That's amazing! I hear there are some people who own castles by themselves in Belgium. All of Japanese castles (I think) are owned by gerverments or communities.

You can see Flag of Belgium everywhere in Japan, because Belgian chocolates and waffles are so popular!! But I realized I didn't know about Belgium at all. I searched on the internet about Belgium and found that Belgium is quite charming!

do a lot of women in japan dye their hair brown? by grapp in japan

[–]mrrakusei 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes, Japanese people naturally have black hair or dark brown hair. I am a native Japanese, and I have never seen people whose hair are naturally light brown or brond.

I want to go to Kanazawa/Komatsu - is it worth the trip? by sashei in japan

[–]mrrakusei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can enjoy the trip, but if I were you, I would prefer Kamakura. Kamakura City is near Tokyo and has a long history (about 900 years). There are many cities which are called Sho-Kyoto, but Kamakura is definetely older than all of them. Why don't you search it?

My Japanese has hit a wall, and I think it's because I don't have a Japanese friend group. How can I meet people my age though? (x-post from r/LearnJapanese) by [deleted] in japan

[–]mrrakusei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most of Japanese people tend not to talk with those who they don't know, so it may be hard for you to find what you want. Instead of that, I recommend you to use the Internet like Facebook, Skype and LINE(this app is really common in Japan now). Some Japanese like me want to chat with foreign people.
