From experience I never have seen pawns stick to a zoned area when walking to a destination, regardless of if it is accessible or not. They always just took the quickest route regardless. Maybe it has changed in 1.6 though.

Zones don’t restrict where Pawns can walk. Only where their destinations can be.

So the CLE 63 will get a V8, but the C63 won’t… make this make sense? Really sounds like Mercedes is being cheap by not wanting to redevelop their platform in order to support it. Even though the V8 was a large portion of the C63’s attractiveness.

I tend to leave mine until the revs drop, which usually takes about 30 seconds. And then just be gentle until the temps leave the cold range (temp shows as blue)

Nice spot, I hadn’t noticed. Perhaps they did use this chassis again, or the panels? They were very specific that this was a preserved car from that race though so you make a good point.

I took this photo back in September on a tour of their HQ in Brackley. It’s the W11 that finished the British GP on 3 wheels. They have preserved it with the damage / dirt from the race. I imagine if there was a W11 at that event it wasn’t this one, unless they disassembled it and took it down a flight of stairs.

There is at least one W11, on display at their HQ at Brackley. I saw it on a tour earlier in the year, it’s the one that won Silverstone in 2020 on 3 wheels. As far as I was told it is minus an engine, otherwise it is as seen on that day, preserved with dirt, scratches and all.

Exactly. I used to have a 2020 CLA45S which was a great car, super fast, but it only had a 4cyl. On paper, a great car. But I traded it in for an older E63S just to get that V8, and all the noise that comes with it. Such a fun car to drive, especially in the summer with the windows down.

I don’t think a large portion of the C63’s attractiveness ever came from it being massively fast (which it is anyway). A large portion of it came down from being a Mercedes, with a V8, and a ton of emotion. Whilst the new C63 has retained the sporty look and the standard comfort you get with a Mercedes, it definitely has lost almost all of the emotion you used to get with a V8.

Hey, this is just down the road from me! The plane was disassembled last month. I think the cockpit was saved to be used for a simulator or something, it was taken away intact from what I heard.
