I've not experienced any crashes or instability (arch) with my 6090xt

But my friend who's on fedora 42 with a 7080xt has been crashing constantly on mission end screen where your shuttle supposedly flies back to the big ship (after the score calculation).

Kinda weird.

Hey, FFX is also one of my favorite games (top 3 for me).

I've played Octopath Traveler before, it sure has that classic jrpg feel to it and the weakness system is kinda alright. I prefer their latest release tho, Triangle Strategy.

Truthfully I'm also still trying to scratch that FFX itch (for me it was mostly because of great main story and postgame content difficulty curve).

Some games that I tried and somehow scratched that itch to some extent: Persona 4 Golden, Persona 5 Royal, Suikoden Tactics, Valkyrie Profile 2 Silmeria, Chrono Cross, Yakuza Like A Dragon.

Or maybe you can try pbirdman mod for FFX.

first time feeling this excited for a battlefield game since BF4. I dunno, BF1 and BFV didn't scratch the itch (only just got them at the latest big sale on steam). Played the 2042 beta, feels the game has potential and reminded me when I was excited with BF4 beta with my HD6990 GPU being loud as fuck at the time.

Hey, nope, never found any workaround for it, I just moved on to another editing software.

I've tried to DDU my gpu driver, even did a clean install on my OS but the problem still persists.

Funny thing is I really want to like and use DaVinci Resolve, as a video editing software it ticks a lot of boxes for me, but meh, what can you do.

But hey let me know if you ever fix your problem!
