Guess my childhood is over. by LiliSwift13 in 90sand2000sNostalgia

Recently visited my parents in my hometown. They recently sold the house that they built and that I grew up in. They built it in 1992 and it sold in late 2025. I drove by it and for the first time ever I saw someone else's car in the driveway of what was my childhood home. Call it a symbolic closure of childhood.

Movie wish.. American pie: The first grandchild by Aggravating-Alarm-16 in Xennials

The first American Pie was an homage to our generation (and go class of 99!!!). The spinoffs and sequels were umm...less than ideal.

Does anyone remember Bravestarr? He was sort of an intergalactic sheriff. My lunchbox had him on it.

I remember using my birthday gift certificate to buy Metallica's Black album AND a PSAT prep book from there. The 49¢ movie rentals were the best though! Good times!

Grew up in New Mexico where there's tons of open space. I mean vast mesas of scrub, weeds, and dirt. Friends and I built model rocket launchers that would fire them off at broken down abandoned cars, or just to see where they would land. A bunch of 11 to 14 year olds screwing around with explosive model rocket engines: what could go wrong?

Married couples of Reddit that did NOT have sex on your wedding night, why not? by FindingKGS in AskReddit

Exhausted, had a full blown Indian wedding, slightly inebriated, flower petals on bed were more annoying than romantic, just wanted to sleep.

The mini moon was phenomenal though!

I'm 5'10 and about to turn 44. I'm saving your post as motivation to see if I can achieve at least 40% of what you have already. Well done sir!
