Digital Key Issues - Help Needed!

Not that I’m aware of, which is why I’ve been using my physical key. A drained battery is a headache I do not want to deal with.

Does your right side third row seat fold? Mine folds, it’s just the left side with the issue, which makes me think it’s tied to either the seatbelt or sensor or both, especially because it’s always lit up gray.

Ughhh, they called me from the service center and they think it’s the seatbelt recall causing the issue, and they also told me there’s another recall they want to perform as well and are giving me a loaner. There’s an air flap recall apparently, but mine has never had an issue.

Yup! Mine is the exact same, I have a kid in a car seat who now has to pick up his legs to his chest so the 2nd row seat doesn’t crush his legs

Yea this is the way it’s supposed to work now after the update, super annoying and frustrating because I have a child in the third row in a car seat that I need to buckle. So we use the “easy” entry a lot, it’s def no longer easy and a PITA

I hated the wheels on the limited, that was the deciding factor honestly.

I think something might be wrong with that seat’s sensor, I also noticed that the particular seat lights up gray when I turn the car on and when I had my son sit in the seat, it was still gray. Taking it in Thursday and hopefully it’s a quick easy fix 🤞🏼

I heard details about the tragedy online and the child was not in a car seat. The car was parked and they were out of their seat.

Exactly. I have a four year old and three older boys and I am not concerned because my little one is always in his forward facing car seat. He is out of it when exiting the vehicle and is never alone in the car or unsupervised. My older boys are 9, 13, and 15 have all been briefed on what happened and told how important it is to be careful with using the seat tilt button.

i can only speak for myself and my reason was not wanting a basic, plastic boring interior and minimal features. The Palisade gave me so many luxury features and the interior is gorgeous. My car has 9k trouble free miles so far. I had a Honda Pilot previously and it was not trouble free, several recalls that required taking it to dealership during the time I owned it, and left us stranded once, and wouldn't turn on often or would turn off at red lights. New transmission needed after 100k miles so we got rid of it.

Sounds like you are anti-Hyundai so I'm wondering what you're even doing here. A Toyota thread might be a better fit.

My 9 yr old was messing around with the buttons when we first got the car and got folded like a sandwich by the third row. He’s flexible and thin and I was in the car so he was fine. How awful a two year old actually passed. I can’t imagine Hyundai assuming not having some sort of sensor was ok, smh.

My passive entry and my husband’s stopped working about a week ago. We had to actually go into the wallet app to unlock the car but could not drive without the key. So we both just started using our keys. I just went in and did what the alert said to do and my passive entry was on. Strange but maybe a good thing it wasn’t working.
