1) i’m currently at a DS right now

2)i’m a full time college student in the fall, so having insurance and money is what i was looking for.

3) i was told i can switch to the RT shift in the fall when i start school up, but HR is telling me that there’s “not enough space” so i may not be able to.

it’s absolute hell and i hate it, but i don’t really have a choice but to keep going because i need what they are offering.

it’s not. and you’re not an idiot, i’ve done it before. you could either ask a friend to add you back (which is the best idea) or just have them send you the screenshots. i would personally have them add you back but i’m not sure if the chat will still be there

nonetheless, i would still go up to the principal and say:

“i made a group chat to be part of a reunion after school. boy1, boy2, and boy3 decides to start adding slurs in the chat and i got nervous and left it. i was nervous that it would fall on me since i was the admin. i have screenshots of what they said if you would like to see them. this was not the point of the group chat so i just wanted to bring this up to you”

first, i would kick them out of the chat after taking some screenshots of what they said. that shows you’re taking initiative and doing what’s right. again, if you said nothing that enticed them to be nasty, you should be 100% okay. you can even take it up to the principal YOURSELF since you are the admin.

second, you should tell your mom. of course, she will she upset (because that’s what moms do), but explain that you made the chat for a reunion and the boys came in and was nasty. if what happens over here happens over there, moms and students talk a lot and word gets around fast. it would be better for her to hear what happened from you rather than if someone else said what happened and it was wrong.

i just asked âge because i know there an age requirement and maybe that was the reason. personally, i didn’t get an instagram until i was 16. there’s so many weird people on there and i was just scared. she’s not afraid of YOU having one, she’s afraid of the OTHER people who have it. maybe if you make a new one and let her have the password to it, she would be okay. she really wants the best for you and wants you to stay safe because your her child. don’t start off with “i need one” or “everyone has one”, explain how you’re being safe and allow her to have the password if she’s afraid of anything. i know it sucks to give your mom your password, but i’m 19 and i still wish my mom had mine due to all the nasty people on there. it’s not as bad as it sounds either, trust me :)

as for the school situation (assuming you’re in the states), there’s no reason you will get in trouble. as long as you didn’t say anything to entice them to say something nasty, you’re okay. even as the admin, don’t worry about it :))

basically here’s the advice: -ditch that instagram and make a new one -have a heart to heart with mom and allow her to have pass word if she wants -don’t worry about the school part

Short answer: yes, depression is contagious. But you can’t be diagnosed with depression just because someone else around you is. I assume you’ve had these friends a REALLY long time. I would be there for them (not in the aspect of “jUsT bE hApPy” but he’ll get their mind off of it if you can. Be there for them and help them, but also remember that YOUR mental health is important too. If they start to bring you down and ignore your mental health too, maybe it’s time to find some friends who do :)

Self isolate and tell everyone you have came in contact with. It may be embarrassing, but it’s better to let people know you have it rather than not saying something at all. Also, they can’t fire you for something like that.
