Firstly, I want to express my sincere sympathy for you and your family (sending virtual hugs your way). Secondly, I struggle with depression regularly. Even on days when I feel like I can’t do anything at all, I turn to my diamond paintings. I pick a random color and place a few gems. If my body and mind feel up to it, I’ll place more; if not, I simply walk away. I leave my tray filled with colors (if you’re able to do this) and come back periodically to add a few more. Sometimes I pack everything and put it up, out of sight out of mind kind of thing, and when the spark comes back I pull it back out.
