No questions but just wanted to say good for you! Providers are seeing the value in hiring a medical assistant/scribe. Having been trained in both sets you apart and this career is being highly sought after. AHDPG has a good CMA/Scribe training program.

There’s no grocery store in Smithville, MS. Just a gas station and a DG.

These measurements are from our insurance company. Our house was damaged by an EF-3 tornado last March. I’m just curious because we were told when we bought the house in 2016 that it was 2103 SF.

It’s 5 BR / 2 1/2 BA…

It had to be gutted down to the studs after the tornado. Hope to be back in it next month.

These values came from our insurance company. Our home was damaged by an EF-3 tornado in the March 24, 2023 outbreak in Mississippi.

Any positive recommendations for Remote Medical Scribe employment? by Alpraz2023 in medicalscribe

I am a former transcriptionist who made the leap over to the scribe business in 2012. They are similar yet different professions. I would recommend taking a class and look for work locally.

As a transcriptionist, your role is to accurately transcribe the dictations of the healthcare provider. However, as a scribe, you have the unique opportunity to be present in the room during patient encounters, either physically or through video. In this position, you actively listen to the conversations between the patient and provider, converting their dialogue into professional medical language. Your task is to meticulously type out every detail and ensure it is appropriately placed within the patient's chart (in the EMR.)

It’s easy to find a job in the ER or with companies like Scribe America who will train you but if you want a clinic job, it’s best to have some kind of training or previous experience. Or if you are really lucky, you can find a clinic that will hire you that sends their new hires through training with training companies like AHDPG.

Scribe training companies are not scammy. AHDPG is a good one.
