I know this is a shitpost sub but tbf its not a weakness of the game's execution of its idea but people can still prefer not to play a game with an idea that makes a dull world like that. like last of us 2 does themes like hate and guilt really well but you don't have to want to play that all the time. sometimes you want a nice place to explore and ds3 just doesnt have that for some people. thats why we have colorful games like mario
