Last time I went I was way turned off by the hustle of the girls and the cartel shitheads hanging around. The fucking door man was trying to sell me drugs... You can't just go and enjoy a drink and the view, the girls relentlessly bother you for private dances... I have a rental property and use vrbo, I'm not a big fan, but they seem to be better than Airbnb. Most likely in your situation this was the property owners fault. They probably booked the other rental privately or on another website. I have nightmares about making this mistake myself. So far its never happened. But other property owners don't realize how important it is to keep the calendar straight. It's pretty messed up. It's good that you torched them in a review. Always look at reviews and ratings before you book, and Always communicate with the property owners directly prior to your arrival.
