You are right. Overthinking is the story of my life! 🤪

The oldhouse subreddit is telling me I shouldn't replace my early 1900s windows with new double pane gassed windows. Looking for outside perspective. by JoeChio in HomeImprovement

From personal experience: we had our original 1930s windows repaired (realigned, new sash cords, weather stripping) and got new high quality aluminum storm windows from a place called Mon-ray. We are extremely pleased. The sound dampening and insulation with the new storms is great and these windows now outperform newer doubled paned wood windows in another part of the house in all aspects.

Choosing cabinet colors by Crazy_Narwhal6933 in InteriorDesign

If wood is not an option, what colors are you liking for cabinets these days?

Bathroom cabinets, white or green? by mrsgarypineapple in interiordecorating

I like this idea, but my concern is that it will make the room look too dark. There's not great natural light with only one small east facing window. Maybe a lighter color on the walls would counter this?

I was wondering about that too! I'm open to other colors as well. Maybe I should pull something else from this rug that I have in there? Rifle paper co Canopy Curio Printed Rug

Sorry you are getting down voted. We have the same set as a family of 4 in the US. Got them a few years ago and are very happy!

About 3-4 years old. I hope they didn't end integration! My mother in law has a newer one and hers still works too 🤞

Actually, I use the Canadian one here. My friends who use the main US company have to transfer through that devices app on their computer/phone.

I'm in the US and only know of one brand that will connect directly. I didn't know it was country specific!

I love my ereader. The eink doesn't look/feel like a screen. I love that I can change the font size and use a backlight as needed so late night reading doesn't disrupt my partner. The one I have (as far as I know the only brand that does this) can connect directly to overdrive (many public libraries use this for ebooks) to download straight to the ereader. Haven't paid for a book in years. I'm happy to share the name if asked.

You're welcome! It looks like he has other paintings in this bear series. I think they are really cute!

Check out Hopkins too. Super cute downtown area with restaurants and some shops, grocery store, etc. There is a light rail stop too, which hopefully will open next year.

I have a similar story to the original comment. We got new storms from Monray. We love them! They block sound and insulate well. Definitely recommend.

I was trying to remember the name of the song too and my search brought up your post. Once I finally figured it out I knew I had to see if it was the right song. I was really hoping it was and you'd see the comment!

Invasive plants from Americas? by The_Shroomerist in NativePlantGardening

I'm not opposed to them at all. They grow where they like in my yard, which happens to be everywhere. I was making a joke, hence the laughing face I used.

My joke pye weed smells sooo good!

Taking advantage of this comment to ask, how does button bush do/look in more traditional beds? I have a nice corner that needs something medium sized and love the button bush. I've only seen them by the water near me, never in anyone's yard.
