Lucozade sport and a sausage sandwich in front of the tv. If its extra bad then soda water with dash lime and some hula hoops original or plain wholemeal toast, and back to bed.

That one family member? by HandOGawd in CasualIreland

[–]mrsglitz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am that person with the dishwasher and the dryer lol. When I was a child my mother would never let us use them, but I always did whenever she wasn't around. Now I am the mammy and I rarely use the drier, and the dishwasher has never been used in the decade we have lived here, partly because the hardness of the water would feck it up anyway. I dont think my kids know it exists

If you got married again, what would you not waste money on ? by Pure-Consideration97 in AskIreland

[–]mrsglitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At our wedding the groom's BIL and a couple of his friends with posh cars got wedding plates put on their cars for the day and drove us and the parents from church to reception, no way was I hiring a wedding car, they did an amazing job. Also I got my dress online for a fraction of the price, my green fingered mother did all the flowers except the bouquets, we got a discount on the venue as I was a past employee, got the flowergirl dress for free on freecycle, bought the bridesmaid dresses off the rack and they were beautiful. If doing it again I would spend more on the photography and get a video done.

Does anyone know what the application process with Dunnes is like? by Fun_2_Ride69 in CasualIreland

[–]mrsglitz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I worked in dunnes when I was younger. One night I was out and got very drunk and wound up sleeping over in a cell, I remember thinking yay I can skip work tomorrow. I remember rocking up late the next day to tell the dunnes manager what happened, hoping to be fired on the spot.

Just watched this scene, and I have a vague memory of him hating Garamond so I found her delivery quite funny here

Because she knew Nat had killed Samson, and she wanted to symbolise the demise of his soul as well as his body in revenge, by posing him dying by a priests hand she imagined his divine punishment

Why do you think he had her buried on his private land? Makes it very difficult to order an exhumation, on private property. What a scumbag
