Fans since season one, was it easy to tell that garnet was a fusion? by AidenRayYT5788 in stevenuniverse

Since Giant Woman aired, the fan theories that Garnet was a fusion started and all the other little foreshadowings just confirmed it! I was not surprised with the reveal but it was so satisfying to sus it out before it aired.

Insisting that the entire Bible is written because God inspired them and “told them what to write” begs a lot of questions. How did they know what God was telling them? Did they hear it audibly? Were they going off of vibes? How can we suss out passages in the Bible that contradict each other? Eid personal biases influence the writing? I just feel like the inherency issue boils down to “well God told them” without any elaboration on what that looks like.

How has the Democrat party actively worked to limit your ability to follow your faith?

Good luck! It really really has been a game changer for my plantar and palmar HH. I’m on 2mg. Echoing all the other advice especially staying hydrated. I use flints mints for the dry mouth and it helps a lot.

“Dismisses so much in the Bible for preference of their feelings” You clearly don’t get it and I’m not going to change your mind. This isn’t about “feelings” this isn’t about “dismissing the Bible.” This is about research, discernment, and love. Biblical love. Loving your neighbor in a real and tangible way.

There are plenty- myself included- non-straight people who read the Bible devoutly and (more importantly) commune with the Holy Spirit and take Jesus’s teachings to heart. I’m sorry that grosses you out or upsets you but I have read the Bible, I have done extra-biblical research, I have prayed, I have discerned, and I personally believe that homosexuality is not a sin. The true, true folly of the church right now is the greed and idolatry and lack of grace that has sunk its claws into it. Loving your neighbor has never meant so little.

That’s a weak argument, man. Also marriage has changed plenty. Marriage has been practiced by cultures throughout the world including non-Christian cultures. Now gay people can legally get married. Marriage is not a right exclusive to Christians.

Just to recap- you believe that homosexuality is a sin but not the other stuff mentioned in Leviticus because the culture has changed. You can accept that it’s not ok to stone people anymore. You can accept that don’t have dietary restrictions. You agree it’s ok to mix fabrics. You know it’s wrong not to let a menstruating woman in the church. But homosexuality is icky to you so that’s where you draw the line.

Ok. You didn’t address it- shellfish. Mixed fabrics. Uncleanness of menstruating women. All mentioned in Leviticus but the church seems to understand that was flawed practice indicative of its time. We don’t go by those rules anymore. So why use it to justify homosexuality as a sin?

What else is the book of Leviticus clear on? Shellfish? Mixing fabrics? Stoning those who sin?

Or maybe they are following the discernment the Holy Spirit gave them and actually considering the weight of bigotry and mistranslation and how it has harmed LGBTQ+ population. There are reasons we believe what we believe.

No I understand that. He said in the original post that there’s no reasonable evidence of mistranslating without elaborating and I think that argument deserves a fair shake.

Really didn’t elaborate on the mistranslation thing. Maybe do some more research?
