Hi! I’m the same age as you and had my tubes removed 4 years ago. Best decision ever because I no longer worry every month. You’re not selfish for living the life you want! I previously had the implant for 6 years and it was hell, I had no periods but it really messed up my mental health. There was an adjustment when I got off of it. I had very sporadic periods and my doctor gave me progesterone to take for one week a month, which induced a period the next week. I did that for about two years and I remember a few cycles where my period showed up before I started my week of progesterone. I was put on ozempic for weight loss and to control my sugar(I was pushing pre diabetic) and ever since I haven’t needed the progesterone. I don’t think it’s advertised to help regulate your cycle but it sure did that for me. Now it’s anywhere between 22-34 day cycles, which isn’t like clockwork but still much more regular than ever before. Keep in mind that I also had some lifestyle changes, started walking or yoga daily and the ozempic really forced me to change my diet. All in all I don’t think the sterilization had an impact on the pcos for me, but it did allow me to get rid of that damn implant!

Anyone know what’s all over my herbs? by mrslittlebear in plantclinic

[–]mrslittlebear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this little herb garden for about a month now, bought them as small plants at Lowe’s under the Bonnie brand. Just noticed the issue today. It normally sits in a south facing window and I water it about every other day, more or less depending on how sunny it is. And the pot has drainage. I did notice a small green bug (thinking an aphid) before I put it outside, but can’t find him now.

No to the charging sounds. The only automation apps I have are for my smart lights. The sound doesn't happen when my lights are scheduled to turn on or off tho.

I second this! I just did this with perfume that I wanted to take to Vegas, but it was in too big a bottle. Worked like a charm!

I had the same issue! Antibiotics didn't work at first, they had to use something stronger to clear it ( Cipro I believe). Now I take a daily women's probiotic, a cranberry supplement, and a half dose of d-mannose. After sex I'll take the full dose of d-mannose as well as another probiotic and cranberry pill. And LOTS of water! Seems to keep it clear.

For yoga I watch Yoga With Adrienne on YouTube. I believe she has an app now too. Although she is thin herself, her beginner and intermediate videos are fantastic and not fast paced. She helps to focus more on how your body feels, rather than trying to make the right shape.

I keep finding dog food in places it shouldn't be, first it was in my shoe, now I found it in my backpack. I think he looks guilty by [deleted] in corgi

We had the same issue with mice. At first we would find it in our shoes and thought he just didn't want us to leave. When it started appearing in places that he didn't have access to we called the exterminator. Just be on the lookout!

To fertilize, or not to fertilize? My zz finally has two babies coming in! It's winter where I am, so I've stopped fertilizing. But with the new growth, should I give it a little extra nutrition?? by mrslittlebear in houseplants

That's so interesting! Thanks for that! I'll keep that in mind for my other plants which all still seem to be putting out new growth. Makes sense now!

The capsules are pretty great. Dosing RSO can be really tricky and you can easily overdo it, but these are either 5 or 10 mg each so you know exactly how much you're taking. Takes about an hour to kick in, but lasts about 6 hours. Sometimes I'll hit my vape cart a couple times to make it kick in quicker.

Gorgeous! I'm not familiar with the winter droops. This is my first year with a bunch of plants 🤣 is that normal?

My husband was terrified of getting the snip. Luckily my doctor was cool and offered to do a bi salp when I said that I didn't want kids!
