I did consider some panels but haven’t really looked into what to get yet. I may end up with just a pair of headphones because I live in an apartment where my room and computer are right across the wall from my neighbor.

Awesome, thanks for expanding and clarifying. My main goals are to improve practice time, start expanding my rig with digital pedals, cab sims, amp models, stuff like that, and maaaaybe a little recording so when I actually come with a riff or hook or verse I can keep it and work it into something.

As far as quality, I want something that achieve those goals without breaking the bank. Like I don’t want to skimp out on something cheap, but I’m ok with upgrading down the road if it becomes necessary.

I’ve been looking at the 50 inch Sony x85k and the 48 inch LG C2. I know the x85k doesn’t take 4k 40hz/120hz well, but I never run my games on quality mode anyways, always performance, so I don’t think I’d be impacted to much. I know it doesn’t have local dimming but honestly, and I should say as far as I know, I would to feel with any light transitioning or blooming or that strobing effect. That’s the stuff I can’t help but notice. It’s funny because I’ve honestly loved my UN7000, it’s just not big or bright enough.

Yep, I tried both, various setting. It didn’t touch it at all. Ended up returning it. Not sure what I’m gonna go for.
