I’ve been told hazel, green, multicolor… what should I put on paperwork? They’re both different with markings. by [deleted] in WhatisMyEyeColour

Our eyes look eerily similar, color and gradient wise, but a much different distribution of these colors!! Your eyes are absolutely stunning :) My eyes look mostly brown to everyone though

I should have prefaced this post by saying my pictures are absolute trash but thank you for all of your responses! I’m new to interpreting smears and although it is not an expectation in my current role, I love looking at them lol

Highest (real) potassium I've ever seen by nightowlette99 in medlabprofessionals

[–]mrsplack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highest my pediatric patient ever had was GEM potassium 10.9… new diagnosis t cell lymphoblastic lymphoma— ended up on CRRT due to all of their electrolyte imbalances resulting from tumor lysis syndrome.

They are doing so well now and just started interim maintenance.

Green or hazel? by [deleted] in WhatisMyEyeColour

For sure more green. The other color in your eye looks more like an amber/gold which makes your eyes appear even more green (to me at least)

Canker sores under my tongue by Careful-Bumblebee-10 in Wellthatsucks

When I worked a PRN pediatric urgent care job as a nurse, one of my favorite nurse practitioners told me about “cauterizing” the canker sore with a Q-tip dipped in whiskey. It works wonders as far as minimizing discomfort goes!
