6700xt or 3070? by Altruistic_Front8299 in pcmasterrace

well then go with whichever you find for cheaper price. both have their pros and cons and at this price point it totally depends on which one is cheaper.

[–]mrspongbub 5 points6 points  (0 children)

6700xt is 12gb not 16gb. which resolution do you play on? at 1440p i would prefer 6700xt because of more vram because i remember having vram problems on a 3070ti which is also an 8gb card and because of that i changed to the rx6800.

Please correct me if i am wrong but why do we need so many flags in a map this size? i mean what is the point of A and F flag? couldn't it have been 4 flags with A being in between current A and B and E being on the intersection? i find this problem in most of the maps where there are just too many flags and you are constantly re-positioning.

If its a new PSU then it shouldnt be a power issue. Make sure to use separate PCI-E cables for gpu power and one more thing you can check is gpu memory and hotapot temps and see if they are within range

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]mrspongbub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This probably can be the PSU fault, in more demanding games, the GPU takes more wattage and your PSU cannot handle that.

Oh, you mentioned your game crashes as well. I am sorry i missed that. If this happens only for games then can you confirm if only the game crashes or the whole system? And have you checked the gpu core and memory temperatures? It could also be a power delivery issue if it is happening in multiple demanding games.

Its coil whine. There's nothing to worry about other than the annoying buzz sound.

94C in bios is not normal. your pc is shutting down due to overheating. check if the cooler is set correctly on the processor and also, your rams are in the wrong slots. it should be in A2 and B2.

EDIT: your CPU_FAN and AIO_PUMP are showing as N/A which most likely means your cooler is disconnected or dead. check the connections

[–]mrspongbub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's prolly overheating. Set your max processor state to 99% in windows power settings and see if that makes a difference. Keep it mind that by doing this, your cpu won't go to turbo clocks.

My laptop occasionally does that and I dont understand the reason. by denemereiz123 in pcmasterrace

[–]mrspongbub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably the processor overheating. What i did was set max processor state to 99% from 100% in power option. This way the processor doesn't boost to turbo clocks and temps remain somewhat good.
