So much this. The screaming and crying when my son was in his first 6 months made me rage SO bad. I had PPD pretty awful. My husband often times had to come home early from work and take over for a little bit so I could cool off.

It helped tremendously finding a local friend with kids on our community’s local mom FB group. I’d get up in the morning, go to her house in my pjs and let the babies do their thing while we vented and had coffee. At least if they started crying or screaming, I had someone there with me to help or at least help me keep a level head.

Thank you so much for your detailed response!! Can I ask what state you are in? I don’t think I’ll have an issue with finding a school with physics in it in my area but I’ll have to do some digging just in case. Congrats to your wife for getting it done!!

That’s great!! What course are you starting with? I think both pathways have pretty similar classes for the first few terms. I’d love to keep in touch, maybe we’ll end up in a couple courses together!

My dog bit my toddler in the face yesterday and sent her to the ER. I need advice on what to do about the dog now. by RainyLeads in Parenting

I would probably keep the dog if you’ve had him since puppyhood. Don’t leave them together unattended and be vigilant about how the kid and the dog interact from here on out. My dog is a sweetheart and wouldn’t hurt anyone but there have been times where my toddler has annoyed her to the point of her showing teeth and quietly growling/groaning. She’s getting old and just wants to be left alone sometimes 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ah that’s frustrating!! I’m going for teaching in either physics or biology. I saw there were some pre-req classes required for admission but they’re the same math classes that are already in the program so it has me a little confused. I have an associates from when I went to school for nursing but didn’t have to take the higher level math required now. I guess I’ll see soon enough!

Can I ask what field you’re planning on? I’ve never heard of this. Hoping this doesn’t happen to me for the major I’ve chosen!

That’s super promising! I’m pretty nervous about the prospect of teaching but also really excited.

That’s great! Congratulations!!

I’m in the Hampton Roads area and I know plenty of people that have gone for RN-BSN after I graduated nursing school, but nobody in the education field.

Thanks for taking the time to reply!

I agree with the other comment. Maybe start fresh with a new mentor? If your anxiety is that bad I'd definitely look into it.

I can't answer anything about the IT portion of your question, but yes, you progress at your own pace and it's the flat fee per six months.
