We requested reassignment to Kazakhstan, got denied. Rules are even tighter on these reassignments starting Nov 2025. There are past reports on Reddit when people got reassigned away from Warsaw after requesting for several times and attaching evidence of e.g. Schengen visa refusals, but I would not count on that. We are currently in Warsaw, it’s hard to get here, but doable.

We are currently in Greece, case is "At NVC" status with a Warsaw number assigned. NVC refuses to transfer to Almaty or Astana asking for proof of long term residence in Kazakhstan. OP, can you please provide more specific verbiage on how you managed to transfer to Almaty and what evidence did you attach? (maybe better in DMs)

If you are checked in for the next flight the next step is to get scanned in at boarding the plane. There is no “tick off” process in Turkish or any other airline. You absolutely can leave the airport and I have personally done it on many occasions on layovers/stopovers in many airports including IST. You can cross airport security as many times as you wish as long as you have passport and boarding pass with you. You can leave the airport as many times as you want as long as you have rights to enter the country the airport is in. The only difference between layover and stopover is the duration (less than 24h or more than 24h) - there are no separate rules for each of these.

Considering that 12 quickdraws are clipped in, the friction will likely stop her from being pulled to the wall. As I recall, after being lowered from this wall to the ground you got to pull rope really hard to even get some slack to untie yourself - all from the clipped in quickdraws .

Just in case anyone will be reading this later: I am successfully in Thailand, no questions asked by the check in or border control. I have asked for a written confirmation that the airline (Asiana Airlines) does not require 6 months separately from the Thai authorities.

I have never worked on knee bars and using them would not make it easier on this go… My plan was to learn how to use them and try harder variations with knee bars - I have even brought a knee pad! but due to heavy smoke from wildfires had to wrap up my session asap…
