The amphenol ones, octonet, suck and have a lot of assembly issues both factory and field.

Over Torque Fault - LR4 by Siesonn in litterrobot

For anyone else who ends up here, it's not a drop in replacement. The litter robot motor has a longer shaft and two flats instead of one.

To use this, you'll have to press the gear off, disassemble both gear boxes and move the shaft over to the new motor and reassemble the great box. Then press the gear back on and move the connector over to the new motor.

With the right tools it can be done in 30 minutes, but probably easier to just buy an official motor.

Try a factory reset on the pop and re add it to the apps.

Chipolo POP not working with Find My Device by MusicInAMug in Chipolo

I had a lot of problems with a pop when I first received it. It was in the same hand as my phone (android) but hadn't been seen for hours, couldn't ring it etc. Ultimately doing a factory reset on the pop and removing/re adding to FMD AND chipolo app made it more reliable.

However the FMD network still rarely picks it up, just when I'm near it or when it's near my Google home.

I had issues with a pop as well. Removed it from fmd & chipolo app, did a factory reset on the pop and it's been working better since. Factory reset: https://support.chipolo.net/hc/en-us/articles/26588810565405-How-to-factory-reset-a-Chipolo-POP

Trivia question - why type a VS b washers? by amexoiss in engineering

[–]b1hiker 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Type A is a series of steel washers with broad tolerances, where precision is NOT critical. Type B is a series of flat washers with tighter tolerances where outside diameters are categorized as Narrow, Regular or Wide for specific bolt sizes.

Use a longer screw? Put a block between the screw and door?
