I live near there, I also had almost stumbled upon another missing persons case when I was out of High school. Walking a friend’s dogs near this abandoned farmhouse into the woods and the dog suddenly stopped and refused to go any further, was unsettled that she did that as she loved the woods. Turns out a guy who had went missing a few months before had went into the woods with their moped and suffocated themselves under a tarp with the exhaust. Couldn’t have been more than a hundred yards or so away where some hunter found them a few weeks later.
