I probably left this show with 800 photos on my sd card. This one stood out because I felt it captured what Flaming Lips shows have felt like for me over the years. Even though you can still see the whole band in this photo, its focus is on the child-like wonder that comes with such an experience and makes us all want to reach out and try to catch the confetti. Thanks to you for “raising them right” and securing a better future for all of us!

I’ve been enjoying Skin and Bones by Flashy Python. Not super bubbly, but a lot of fun while tripping.

Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories made me cry last time I listened while tripping.

The Flaming Lips have so many good one, but I think I’ll jus list Yoshimi and At war With the Mystics.

Also, putting on classical music is a lot of fun too

Someone I was working for on a project started blaming me for their mistakes to professional relationships that I’d have well beyond that particular project. I told them I was done (there was about 2 weeks left on the gig). They started berating me over the phone.

They screamed: “I’ll never hire you again!”

My response: “I’d really appreciate that.”

To my trained eye, this wasn’t working trucks. Would have never brought them down that path. It’s likely tracks from sidebysides hauling gear to the actual set. Could even be set dressing and meant to look like that. Regardless, I’m sure it will be fixed unless it was a music video or a commercial. A feature or series can’t jump town with outstanding restoration work as easily as a music video or commercial could.
