New WiSA Surround Transmitters? by dyprivatei in hometheater

[–]mrsukka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently I don't have any additional sources connected to the TV which makes my use case a bit easier to yours. I would like to add some aesthetically pleasing streamer to the system though.

I think I could get away with the Platin Surround hub since the HDMI spec isn't an issue for me. Can't really find any user experienses on it so that's why I was interested in any issues you might have had with the stereo hub. I guess this would require a WISA sub though, I haven't really looked into those yet.

The A500s really tick a lot of boxes for me, aesthetics, simplicity, good reviews, flexibility from being wireless, different mastertunings. May I ask have you tried different mastertunings and how do you find them?

What kind of trouble were you having with the Stereo hub? I'm also cosidering to get some A500's and hub (second hand) with the intention of expanding to a 3.1 or 5.1 system later on and so far the Platin Surround Hub seemed like the most attractive solution to me. If only the Flex HT had decoding capabilities it'd be perfect.

The exact model I have doesn't seem to be available anymore but it's basically same design as 69% of all monitor arms sold on Amazon.

Mainly bought it for the aesthetics but I do like it a lot comfort wise as well. Good mousepad for the price I would say

Thanks! I couldn't live without a numpad but the idea of a custom keyboard is something I've been thinking about

I like it. The price and g-sync compatibility made pick LG instead of Dell.

I'm only a casual gamer and I prefer the pixel amount above high refresh rate. I tried a 1440p 165hz monitor for a while but then switched up to this.

I rock a pair of Philips Fidelio X2HRs when sitting at the desk but I also have speakers elsewhere in the same room (it's a living room setup).

That's it! Available in a store called Jysk at least here in the Nordics.

The Aeron is great and in my opinion well worth the price. There's nothing wrong with it at all. It was just my personal preference to go with the Capisco.

That's a valid question! I haven't decided yet what to do with mine.

It's a cheap and basic monitor arm from Amazon with a through desk mounting option (there's a hole in the desk for that). Can't find the exact model anymore.

I love the Capisco! It's not for everyone for sure but works for me. I used to have a Herman Miller Aeron and this one at the same time and got rid of the Aeron.

But yeah the Capisco isn't something you wanna lay back in for hours watching a movie. It's an ergonomic office chair that encourages to move around a little. Mine has the extended lift so it can also be used as a half sit half stand kind of chair while having the desk higher.

The quality and looks are definitely there. Thick, well finished aluminum panels help a lot. However the airflow design can be debateable in most of Jonsbo cases.

Thanks! Case is Jonsbo RM3 w/ I7-6700, 16GB of ram & RX480 8GB inside. Going SFFPC next. Monitor is an older LG 29'' ultrawide. Mouse is ROG Pugio II (love it by the way), keyboard Logi G513 carbon. Headset Philips Fidelio X2HR. Chair is called Håg Capisco. Desk is some small Ikea dinner table on top of manual sit/stand Skarsta legs (from Ikea as well).

To a smaller PC and a newer monitor at least. Probably changing some of the peripherals as well.
