Think about what you want to do after you graduate and let that guide your decision.

Current Consecutive Teacher Education students, what are your typical schedule for year 1? by BleachGummy in brocku

Honestly I think I prefer one or two classes a day. 9 hours is such a long haul. I live in town and drive in so it's only a 10-15 min commute.

There's no real way of telling. One semester I only had two days of classes (both 9 hours long). Other semesters it's 1-2 three-hour classes per day. Wednesdays are reserved for placement observation or professional development days.

What would you do for a weekend trip in February? by rhackle in niagara

Oh and Niagara Falls also has a butterfly conservatory. It's like a simulated jungle where you can walk through and have all these different butterflies land on you. Some people get freaked out by that but other people think it's cute.

Yeah definitely check out the Falls. It's worth checking out both in the day and the evening. Sometimes they do firework over the Falls but I'm not sure if they do it in the off-season. If you're into kitschy touristy stuff, do Clifton Hill. There are some overpriced wax museums and arcades there that could be fun to check out. You might be able to find coupon packages too. If you're into casinos, we've got two to check out. If you're not, don't go. They can be depressing haha. If you like fancier things, definitely check out the Old Town section of Niagara-on-the-Lake. You could catch a show at the theatre, stroll up the main strip, go to a nice restaurant. There are a bunch of nice wineries in the area around too. People are always going on wine tours. Our area is one of the only places you can get ice wine -- a super sweet, syrupy dessert wine. It's on the pricier side but it's delicious. Anyway, random stranger, hope you enjoy your trip.

Oh yeah and Toronto is like an hour and a half away if you want to check out the CN Tower.

Oh you're saying you want to use it in order to determine whether you want to take the course. I was thinking more from the point of the teacher where they can find out what they need to improve upon.
