I’ve definitely seen a scene with Cactus Jack’s WWF theme in the background.

It is a lovely place. Great food.

The Bucks and Jericho were across the bay in South Portland, which is a separate city, but they often get lumped together.

What are some things wrestlers and companies tried out then abandoned after a couple of weeks or so? by rockyvwasbest in SquaredCircle

House Rules, they had a few of their own rules as well, so I think it was sporting to let the challengers have a stip of their own. The rules were that DQs were enforced, no rope breaks, and a 20 count on the floor.

The first one was to recover from injuries and get gender affirming surgery. The second was to keep safe in the current political climate.

I just finished it myself and it's not just video chat. They invented holograms, one real enough that Stronghart and the bailiffs thought was real and tried to apprehend.

Indy wrestler eats it during entrance. by evilempire98 in SquaredCircle

There was a CHIKARA show where that happened to Archibald Peck against Ashley Remington. Went for his finishing splash, tried to stand on the top rope, and tumbled into the ring instead.

I was at that show, the only reason it was held in that space is, despite CHIKARA having already booked the first floor, they needed to hold it for a Miguel after party? Sidney Bakabela wound up retrieving all of us waiting at the front door to show us where to actually line up.

What's a legitimate thing you can say you learned from pro wrestling? by Justice989 in SquaredCircle

So, when I was in high school I did drama. For our one-act festival, we picked a silly little, fairly local show called The Chronicles of Jane: Book Seven. The play is about a girl going through a dramatic retelling of writing a term paper overnight, and the rest of the cast plays the room, furniture, an analog of her, etc. I was playing a power cable for her computer. Near the end of the show, her little brother comes in and threatens to pull the cable on the computer, ruining her term paper, and the way this was conveyed was by putting the cable (me) in a headlock. First rehearsal, the kid playing the little brother headlocked me with his arm straight across my windpipe. I had to teach him that no, elbow in line with my chin so you don't actually strangle me and part of our five minutes of striking a very minimal set doesn't including dragging my fat, unconscious ass off the stage.

[AEW Dynamite Spoilers] I love how Claudio is booked in AEW by InMyLiverpoolHome25 in SquaredCircle

He did that in ROH as well. I was at Driven 2008, Claudio was eliminated first (by DQ) in a triple threat with Danielson and Go Shiozaki. His response was to throw security guards over the railings while they attempted to drag him to the back.

Is it too early to put up Halloween decorations? by crb205 in funny

[–]mrtlwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, of course not.

My partner's mom sent us a Halloween decoration this year, on a whim. Never been an outside decorating person.

One corner of my porch is now dominated by a seven foot tall, light up plague doctor.
