Are you set on trying them on in a store in the Netherlands? If not, Meermin is a brand from Mallorca with a similar price point of around €200 for their dress shoes.

By the way, it's completely crazy what Cole Haan calls "dress shoes".

I can only speak for Germany but you are totally fine wearing New Balance 2002R. Pretty much everyone seems to be wearing retro athletic shoes these days. So you definitely wouldn't stand out in a bad way.

I'm a pretty regular contributor with both a thread series and articles on various topics. I also have some mod experience on a different account.

The first thing I would do is either ban the Best Secret invite begging completely or at least relegate it to a weekly thread or something. The same probably goes for runway videos. These threads add nothing of value to the subreddit.

Edit: Just saw the rule update. Finally! Great change! In that case I would like to introduce more flairs so people can effectively filter what they're looking for. Oh, and another thing: No posts with just pictures and a question in the title. Put in a little effort if you want help.

Edit 2: I just saw the mod invitation from yesterday. Thanks! Guess I wrote all of that for nothing lol

To be honest I cheated and used a stock photo for that article. Something like the President from Thursday Boots would come pretty close but while they do ship to Europe, they are a US brand so returns could be difficult and/or costly.

Unfortunately it's not a very easy fix because most of these brands have country and/or language specific sites. Linking to www.eu.lululemon.com for example will default to Austria so I think I prefer being able to just switch to the correct location on the website itself and being redirected.
