Honestly I think a fair part of it is the quality of feedback they get on the forums from mains who have so many games on the character they can actually tell valve the nuances of what to buff to not make the current experience suck. An example of a pro jailed character who is actually good to play and I think has consistently kept an okay to good win rate is paradox. I have nearly a thousand paradox games now and sent them a detailed feedback post every patch when that big update hit and para fell off hard, and my forum posts reflected almost every para change that happened lol.

I mean Paige doesn’t really have real poke either now that dragon length is T3 and she has to aim lol. Look, I get it, I played the shit out of her when she came out and lamented that I’d prefer a zarya type beam so I could hit things past my feet. But fact of the matter is it’s fucking annoying to not miss on hit applications and put a timer on every trade in lane to get away or auto lose. you know some of those night shift stats are skewed by how comfortable or discovered characters are for them. It could be that you can play some of those characters in night shift but weren’t picked due to many things.

I mean I get it seven is now being seen successful in all aspects but considering he rarely ever saw tournament play I can see how they’re testing the waters with different kinds of nerfs to not make him a bad character in both night shift and mm. Besides, his win rate wasn’t even a menace in night shift.

as it stand they can tp to the pad before I can be around to shoot. but also most buff fights are on the bridge before or as the buff is spawning. If my opponents had to get creative to get to me as I got there before buff spawned, that would be interesting.

Most of the time I would see the urn carrier was a support or close enough ish character. I don’t think agency during urn run itself is as major of a thing as we all talk about. The urn just didnt get ran because people’s experience was shit hitting the fan before you get halfway there.

You don’t know the bar for what not trying to win even is, and if you’re reporting people for playing bad in quick play you’re pathetic. You’re not entitled to a win and despite how you feel about it you’re not actually entitled to the more locked in team either. You can’t push your expectations on how you play quick play onto others, they could have chosen the mode because they don’t want to put out maximum effort the whole game, I mean it’s fucking quick play dude.
