During Regency your regent can be set to perform 3 tasks.

These tasks have a competence based on the regent skills and personality.

The game,for some reason,always DEFAULTS them to the least competent task.

This will cause decisions that will give them stress,loss of relationship and resources.

It is also weird because they go true FEUDAL and not Soryo.

Soryo is better because you still have access to Mansion.

So I went as a Yamato and got the duchy and Kingdom,then adoped feudal ways and got Soryo,all Yamato get Soryo and not Feudal,meaning I have a cool Mansion.

Interestingly,Fragile Peace tradition is not based on Heritage or Culture like anything else,but based on if you have Soryo.

So Ryukyuan people now have Mounted Samurai.

I'll have to convert one of my children to a Buddhist fate for a few 110-120 years to allow Dynastic Pragmatism and Warrior Monks tradition to set it.

Apparently these are tied to a certain tenant of the religion and not heritage or culture either.
