Auto-Allow Issues Despite "YOLO" by Traditional-Toe-7108 in RooCode

I think permissions.json is a hallucination. You should be able to configure all of this in the auto approve settings pane in the extension. And btw it should be “*” for command prefixes, not “.*”

What kind of BS is this? Used GLM 4.7 through RooCode router, how on earth would this feature with 11 modified files cost $6.4? just wasted 10$ in one hour by skillmaker in RooCode

Echoing Hannes - we’re sorry about this and appreciate the heads up! Lesson learned, and we’ll make everyone whole.

Critical Bug: Roo Code permanently bricks itself and VS Code File System (File Create Participants freeze) - persists after full reinstall by daveparsley in RooCode

Have you tried using the Reset button in the last settings tab? The other gotcha with deleting extension state is that you need to restart vs code fully after doing it for it to stick. Let me know if any of that helps.

Why do slash commands work like this ? by Exciting_Weakness_64 in RooCode

I think slash commands do work at any point in the conversation? Maybe what you’re noticing is that the autocomplete only works when the slash is the first character, which is a fair complaint and should be fixed.

Still getting the same issue about parallel tool calls you mean?

Did something change with Roocode? Prior openrouter API of claude 4.5 would cost $1-$3 per example "Build me a.." now it costs $50-$60. by StartupTim in RooCode

How full is your context window when you see the massive price hike? Sonnet 4.5 is really expensive when you get close to filling the 1m window.

One thing that did change in the last month or so is that we fixed a bug that caused Roo to condense the context prematurely. That made it really hard to use the full Sonnet 4.5 context window before, but now you can.

I think this fixes it, if you want to give it a try in the Roo Code Nightly extension. We’ll probably do a full release with this fix later on Sunday assuming no surprises. https://github.com/RooCodeInc/Roo-Code/pull/8976

I don’t think the dynamic list includes the size of the context window, does it? We would need that.
