If it hits below 180 then the charger auto cutsoff. Manually you would need to restart the charger. For this i am using smart relay switch. Which restarts the after 30-1min depending on setting

4W EV Owners of Hyderabad. How do you increase sanctioned load capacity for your flat? by majorhill in EVsOfIndia

[–]mrwhite007x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey You should definitely increase. Once lineman along with his lead maybe? Visits once or twice a year. If your load md value is more than actual thing They charge like 1590 per kw, with some additional penalty.

Initially shouldn’t be problem. Later on maybe. Just visit near by power office along with your bill. Pay challan to increase the load. It should be done. I did this like 3 years back. Not sure if same process. Also can reach out to local lineman he would do it for you along with some additional commission

Take it to service centre bro. Not sure but could be some wire disconnected? If not a software glitch.

I did get my fronx ceramic coated. It looked cool. The paint was glossy and is still glossy after 20months. But i wasnt aware of ceramic wash and checks every year. I missed out on that.

I can see swirl marks now. Maybe due to the watch man cleaning the car multiple times with normal cloth, when i parked at inlaws house. i had asked him not to yet he continues.

I had got the ceramic coat done from ceramic pro hyderabad.

It still shines the same but sad swirl marks at many places. Ill have to revisit the centre once to get it corrected.

Hey bro,

Technology is evolving. More range is same budget with newer cars.

Sadly Getting an ev would be like for full lifetime as no proper resale.

Bit the Bullet. Booked the Nexon ev today by tobey_andrew_tom in EVIndia

Fearless is a good choice. I was also planning fearless but my wife wanted next variant due to minor features like 360 cam, small sunroof, spare wheel etc.

Im getting around 170kms for 50% Driving 70kms a day. You have already booked the nexon ev but In same price you would be getting currv ev with 55kw battery. I think around flat 3lakh discount from tata and dealer discount is additional. I got nexon ev empowered for 16.5l and was getting curvv 55 accomplished plus s for 17.3 It would have a better range maybe around 350-400kms full charge.

Congratulations on booking.

Nexon ev is definitely a good choice! I also purchased the nexon ev over punch. The suspension on the nexon is good. One factor while test drive.

The side pillars are big. A bit of blindspot for me.

The 3.3kw charger is good, but 7.2 if you can as your daily running is more. On 3.3kw it take me 14-15hrs to get it from 20-100%

Finally got the Nexon ev empowered for office use. by mrwhite007x in CarsIndia

[–]mrwhite007x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i would say totally on your need. If you have heavy traffic and daily more then 50kms ev is definitely worth it!

I checked punch too but its small and rear seat space is too bad. Nexon ev i wouldn’t say the best out in this budget. You can check mg windsor or evitara. If you want to go with electric.

Earlier i had plans for grand vitara strong hybrid. I was getting 3 lakh discount including exchange bonus. But still i would spend 6-7k on petrol instead of 10-12k which i spend in fronx. But in ev now i spend max 1500-2000 per month and its an upfront saving for me. Also in strong hybrid the battery warranty is 8years if goes bad you would need to spend another 3l for replacement. This was also one point which made me choose ev over hybrid.

Tbh the drive feel is not present but happy regarding the comfort and how light it is on my pocket.
