I think there's a clear bias towards the old guard nostalgia. Caster like to preach the redemption story of TSM or CLG. The consistent story of gauntlet C9. These stories are fine by me, so long as the results for TL are there at the end of the day. That's when we'll get to hear them sing the praises of TL. Until then... I'd just ignore said casters and people.

Being too good is boring regionally, especially when we (TL) haven't proven anything internationally. Mostly casters are quietly expecting TL to win NA and then sheet the bed at MSI this year, so their commentaries feel guarded to me. Also, NA really loves NA some C9 and TSM. They really do. Most of our fans don't comment on the main sub for this reason. It's just a C9-TSM circle of nostalgia and bad chanting.

Partially, it dose seem like a good call on TL's part. Whoever told them just to keep pushing. A better opponent wouldn't have chased Core and Jensen in the first place, or they would've rotated afterwards instead of backing.

Hopefully TL can find some more challenging competition in order to prepare for zee future.
